Welcome to CatchWithUs.com! Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

The CatchWithUs.com platform is operated by Bofoto Media AB (Org. no: 559514-2018, Malmö, Sweden). In these Terms, we refer to ourselves as "CatchWithUs", "Platform", "we", or "us".

2. Our Role as an Intermediary

CatchWithUs is exclusively an online platform connecting anglers ("Guests") and independent fishing guides ("Guides").

  • CatchWithUs is NOT a tour operator or travel agency. We do not organize, lead, or manage fishing tours.
  • Direct Contract: The contract for the guiding service is made directly and exclusively between the Guest and the Guide.
  • CatchWithUs is not a party to that contract and does not guarantee the execution, quality, success, or safety of the tour.

3. Guide Accounts and Obligations

By creating a profile on the platform, the Guide agrees to the following:

  • Accuracy: The Guide guarantees that all provided information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Copyrights: The Guide owns the copyrights (or has valid licenses) for all uploaded photos and texts.
  • Permits and Insurance: The Guide is independently responsible for obtaining and maintaining all permits, licenses, certificates, and insurance required by their local laws.
  • Taxes: The Guide is solely responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes in their country.
  • Moderation: CatchWithUs reserves the right to reject, pause, or remove a Guide profile at any time for suspected violations of these Terms.

4. Booking Requests and Fees

  • Current Status: Platform usage is currently free. The commission on bookings in 2027 is 0%.
  • Future Fees: If CatchWithUs introduces fees in the future, Guides will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Guides have the right to close their account free of charge before any new fees apply.

5. Content and Translations

  • License: By uploading text and photos, the Guide grants CatchWithUs the right to display that content on the platform and for marketing purposes.
  • Machine Translations: For international visibility, texts are machine-translated into other languages. CatchWithUs is not liable for inaccuracies in automatic translations.

6. Limitation of Liability

Safety on the water and during the trip is the sole responsibility of the Guide and the Guests. CatchWithUs is not present on site.

  • We do not verify or guarantee the absolute truthfulness of Guide claims; verification is a basic check, not a guarantee.
  • All payments and financial disputes are strictly between the Guest and the Guide.
  • We are not liable for fraud, tour cancellations, injuries, accidents, equipment damage, or death resulting from tours booked via the platform.
  • We strongly recommend Guests obtain their own travel and accident insurance.
  • This limitation of liability applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Termination, Changes, and Governing Law

  • Changes: CatchWithUs reserves the right to amend these Terms with notice on the website.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Malmö, Sweden.
